Karl Marx and Communism

After the effects of The Industrial Revolution german philosopher Karl Marx used his knowledge and ideas to change what he thought was a negative effect on the world. Karl Marx invented communism. In Marx's idea of communism he believed that everyone should share wealth unlike today's communist governments which have become dictatorships. Marx and a man named Friedrich Engels published "The Communist Manifesto" which explained Marx's views of what he thought the worl should be like.
Marx emphasized on the excessive need for new factories and the pollution it brought. He stated "capitalism contained it's own seeds of destruction". Marx was known as a historian of economic thought, he posted exactly 10,000 on economics. After being financially supported by Engels for much of his adult life Marx died in 1883. After the war many governments became communist changing the ideas of Marx and making them their own. These countries became strict dictorial lands.

Karl Marx and The Industrial Revolution

The Industrial Revolution was an important event in history which led us into the modern world we live in today. It had positive and negative effects and people all had different views and opinions on it. Karl Marx was a man who wasn't much in favor of The Industrial Revolution. Marx looked down on the way industrial workers were treated, conditions of factories, pollution that these factories gave off and he also believed that the power should go to workers in these factories instead of landowners or landlords. He inspired a world wide revolution for workers. Karl Marx's ideas would later go on to create communism which was used in many countries but didn't exactly work. Some countries today still use communism like Cuba.

Nationalism and the Creation of Italy

Nationalism is the belief that one's greatest loyalty should not be to a king or an empire but to a nation of people who share a common culture and history.  People of the U.S. are very nationalistic, they hang flags celebrate american holidays, and take place in american past time's.
Im nationalistic when i celebrate holidays like Thanksgiving or The Fourth of July.  Also during special events like the olympics I cheer on american competitor's.
Nationalism began in Italy when citizens got tired of being ruled by various Austrians.  The people decided they wanted to become one nation independent from Austria.  Italy became a nation state with the help of Camillo di Cavour a Sardinian king who claimed northern italy and Garibaldi the man who liberated southern Italy.  The two parts of Italy were finally united as Cavour ruled over them.

Simon Bolivar and Latin American Revolutions.

Simon Bolivar a famous South American general liberated most of the land during The Latin Revolution.  Bolivar born on July 24, 1783 in Caracas, Venezuela lived there before traveling through Europe.  After his home Caracas being invaded Bolivar returned and joined a group know as the patriots.  Later on in 1813 Bolivar and his army seized control and freed Caracas.  Forced to escape into New Granada he rose to gather another army in which he used to capture Bogota in 1814.  The patriots lacking necessities was defeated and forced once again to retreat, this time into Jamaica.  In Haiti he rounded up men and took control of Angostra in which he later became dictator.  Liberating territory all over South America from the spaniards now known as Ecuador, Colombia, Panama and Venezuela.
Becoming the first president in December of 1819 Bolivar continued defeating the spanish army.  Bolivar was later named as dictator of Peru.  Peru separated into two states, upper Peru being renamed as Bolivia after the glorious Bolivar.
